EMI/RFI Shielding

The primary purpose of EMI shielding is to reflect, absorb, or redirect electromagnetic waves to prevent interference from affecting sensitive equipment. EMI can originate from a variety of sources including outside signals from other equipment or from the affected component itself. EMI shielding, whether it is in computers, medical devices, cell phones, televisions, or even windows play an integral part in preventing as much interference as possible. There are many forms of EMI shielding including sheet metal, conductive paint, and electro less plating. EMI/RFI shielding gaskets are the most effective and cost effective method of shielding. The primary reason for gasket selection is its ability to prevent slot antennas. At NEDC Fabricating Solutions we pride ourselves on the successful design, fabrication, and effective distribution of high quality EMI/RFI gasket shielding products. We use a variety of EMI/RFI Materials that will best suit your specific needs. We can be reached at 1-800-224-6332 or visit us at www.NEDC.com
