Backplane Shields And EMI Shielding
August 30th, 2007 by RFI pro
Backplane shields are connector gaskets that shield or ground the backplane of any sort of telecommunications equipment, such as your computer, that has a lot of cut-outs and openings. This sort of EMI shielding is very important when it comes to protecting the delicate parts of your equipment from electromagnetic issues. Those gaskets have to be cut to the right shape so that the holes fit perfectly, and made from the right materials.
