Oriented Wire And EMI Shielding Materials

Some gaskets are made by putting little wires in silicone. These are called oriented wire gaskets. They’re extremely useful because oriented wire is one of the best EMI shielding materials there is. And of course, the gaskets are easy to fit into the places where they are needed. It seems like such a little thing, but improperly made gaskets will not properly shield your delicate machinery from electromagnetic interference that can damage your equipment.
